    Position Overview: duties & responsibilities

    Grade Level Teaching Assistants...
    • provide instructional support to grade level teachers;
    • aid students in their daily tasks, online or in person as needed, to help ensure their understanding of subject matter and use of materials;
    • provide supervision and support during recesses/breaks and lunch;
    • and maintain a professional attitude in all manner of conduct with students, faculty, and parents, including a commitment to confidentiality.
    Qualifications
    Grade Level Teaching Assistants…
    • hold a BA, ideally in education or a related field (teaching certification is a plus);
    • has experience working with and/or teaching youth;
    • are detail-oriented and demonstrate the ability to follow written and oral instructions;

    • provide instruction and fulfill duties during the short-term absence of faculty; aid students in their daily tasks, help ensure their understanding of subject matter and use materials provided by absent teachers to attain lesson goals;
    • manage classroom behavior in a positive way and reach out to other faculty members for support as needed and manage classroom procedures, including taking attendance and maintaining orderly classrooms and student work, in compliance with the school’s procedures, guidelines, and policies;
    • and maintain a professional attitude in all manner of conduct with students, faculty, and parents, including a commitment to confidentiality.
    Qualifications
    Substitute teachers…

    Annie Wright is seeking a substitute Bus Driver to be available immediately. This is a part-time position.

    Position overview: duties & responsibilities

    The Business Office Administrative Assistant provides support for the smooth running of the Business office. To do this, the Business Office Administrative Assistant:
    • receives visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately;
    • answers, screens and forwards incoming phone calls;
    • provides administrative and clerical support to all divisions of the School, coordinating communications with families, faculty, staff, and other schools, and completing short- and long-term projects;
    • coordinates logistics for special events, orders and distributes supplies for the Division, and coordinates with the Admissions team to welcome visitors and applicants;
    • receives and processes daily mail;
    • works from 8:30 am-5:00 pm on school days;
    • reports to the Director of Finance.

    Qualifications
    The Business Office Administrative Assistant:
    • has experience as an administrative assistant or managing an office;
    • possesses excellent organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and attention to detail;
    • demonstrates proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and related applications;
    • is ready to take initiative, will collaborate with colleagues, and has a good sense of humor.

    Compensation includes competitive benefits and salary commensurate with experience. Compensation includes an hourly wage.

    Position Overview: duties & responsibilities
    Extended Day at Annie Wright offers programming for students in Preschool through Grade 8 before and after the regular school day and during school vacations. Extended Day includes a variety of opportunities for students in a safe and nurturing environment. On school days, Extended Day runs from 2:45-6:00 pm, and on non-school days including school breaks and summer, Extended Day runs from 7:00 am-6:00 pm. Extended Day Staff responsibilities include:
    • supervising students, tracking students’ attendance, and providing support to ED leadership and Annie Wright faculty;
    • organizing and leading activities for students, including arts & crafts and games;
    • and supporting for Extended Day leadership and other Faculty and fulfill other duties as assigned, such as supervising a study hall.

    Qualifications
    Extended Day Staff:
    • have experience working with and managing groups of students;
    • demonstrate strong communication skills, a positive attitude, flexibility, and the ability to work independently;
    • are consistently available during ED times, listed above (limited hours are available);
    • are eligible to work in the United States.

    Compensation
    Compensation includes an hourly wage of $12.35/hour.

    • High School diploma or GED, one year minimum of successful experience in janitorial/housekeeping or position.
    • Ability to read and understand SDS and directions regarding the use of housekeeper/janitorial products used by the School.
    • Must demonstrate the ability to work with minimal supervision and direction in accomplishing work goals.
